Nickel battery positive and negative electrode materials

Spent AA-size Ni–MH batteries used in this work were kindly provided by GreatPower Battery Co., Ltd. The battery shells were nickel-plated iron. The positive electrodes were comprised of formed nickel substrate and active material; the negative electrodes consist of -type hydrogen storage alloy powder on metal–mesh substrate.
